A new workforce tool, every 30 days.

The workforce field produces enormous research and strategy — but too few lightweight tools that put those ideas to work. WhereWeGo Labs builds small, public, free tools for workers and institutions that need them.

Career Training Navigator floating in a blue sky

Let's call this one "Mississippi's Version." This is a worker-facing version of an Eligible Training Provider List. Workers can browse and match to over 900 career training programs in Mississippi that have committed to providing financial aid to eligible participants. This easy tool empowers workers. They can understand how trainings connect to careers, understand WIOA eligibility, and most importantly take the next step to connect with their American Job Center or the programs themselves.

Am I Cooked?

Soon

A playful tool in an unsettling time. As AI reshapes the labor market, many workers have little clarity about whether their role is vulnerable or what to do next. This interactive tool uses the most up to date labor market data and research and helps individuals assess career risk and identify adjacent pathways to explore.

Credential Verification - Easy LER

Soon

A dual-sided credential verification tool. Inspired by the way employment verification works — a worker submits a credential claim, it gets routed to the training provider for verification, and once both sides confirm, a permanent shareable credential record is created. The worker owns a URL they can share with employers. The credential gets saved into the system for easier verification in the future.

Workforce Pell Eligibility Check

Soon

Many training providers and institutions are trying to understand whether their programs may qualify under emerging Workforce Pell guidelines. This tool helps them quickly assess eligibility questions in a policy environment that is still evolving. We will also scrape targeted community colleges to begin a learner facing UX for exploring opportunities.

Industry Clarity Score

Soon

Some industries have major opportunities, but from a worker’s perspective they can still feel opaque, fragmented or hard to enter. Especially if they are new or emerging. This tool evaluates how clear an industry is for workers by assessing barriers to entry, visibility into roles and pathways, and how easy it is to understand the steps needed to get started.

Can a Mom Actually Work Here?

Soon

Many workplaces say they support families, but workers with caregiving responsibilities often face hidden barriers in practice. This tool helps organizations evaluate how supportive their workplace is and identify concrete ways to improve.
